WILLOW BURN HOSPICE 2012 SUMMER FAIR

Willow Burn Hospice Summer Fair – Saturday 7th July 2012

This year’s summer fair nearly did not happen because of the terrible weather we have had recently.  Days before the fair, the decision was taken to change the venue to St Bede’s school in Lanchester village as the hospice site was a total wash out

We decided to go ahead and I am so pleased we did as it was a fantastic day and not a drop of rain in sight, the sun was shining all day! Lots of people came along and supported us and one of the highlights of the afternoon had to be the Olympic Torch brought along very kindly by Nigel Cook.  As well as being a great day, it was also an incredible financial success with the fair in total raising £4018.99!

I would personally like to thank everyone who came along and supported Willow Burn on the day and helping us raise a fantastic amount of money. (please see below the winning ticket numbers from the raffle)
