Valuing Volunteers
Monday 20th February 2012 10am - 2pm
Over 140 volunteers provide support to Willow Burn Hospice. The Volunteer Services Manager co-ordinates a range of events across February as taster sessions for volunteers. Volunteers can sample other opportunities across the hospice and learn more about how these elements make up the business of the charity. Make a Will Month
Throughout the whole of March at various locations
Throughout March, solicitors from some of the region's most well-known practices will be waiving their fees as they help clients ensure their future wishes are protected - whilst raising money for Willow Burn Hospice. St Patrick's Night

Treasured Gifts Pamper Parties Launch
Wednesday 18th April 2012 at 12 noon
The Old Vicarage, Castleside
Willow Burn is launching its very own Treasured Gifts Pamper Parties and this is a unique opportunity to get involved. We are looking to recruit five 'Treasured Volunteers' who will undergo training to manage hosted parties where the host and their guests get to sample and experience the latest Treasured products. Flash Zumba's

Do you have a zest for life and enjoy Zumba? Would you be willing to pitch up somewhere with only a couple of hours notice to take part in a flash Zumba? If so, then we would like to hear from you! Diamond Jubilee Celebration

The Big Lunch - similar to the Royal Wedding event we held last April. This is all about our local community coming together for friendship and fun! Tea @ 3
At a time and venue for convenient for you in June!
Would you like to host a tea party in aid of Willow Burn Hospice? During June we ask hosts to put on afternoon tea in their workplaces, homes, schools and colleges. All that we ask if of you is that you and your guests have fun, enjoy afternoon tea and raise funds for the hospice while you are it. Willow Burn Hospice will host it's own Tea @ 3 on Wednesday 30th June from 1.30pm - 4pm and is open to the local community to visit the hospice and learn more about our work.
Cocktail party

The Lambton Run

In it's second year, this annual event in the running calendar is held on the Lambton Park Estate. For keen runners the 10K is for you, the terrain is mixed and the course is undulating. If you have children, why not bring them along and participate in the 3K fun run? This event is sponsored by the Sir Tom Cowie Charitable Trust. Looking for a new and exciting way to raise funds for Willow Burn Hospice?.....then why not try this!
Ever wanted to Skydive? Well here’s your opportunity!
Willow Burn Hospice is always on the lookout for new and innovative ways for fundraisers to raise money. For the more adventurous, we think you’ll like this and if you raise enough money, you can do it for FREE!
There are three types of jump available: an Accelerated Freefall (skydive solo from 12000 feet); a Tandem Skydive (from 10000 feet, attached to a professional instructor); a Static Line jump (performed solo from up to 3,000 feet.
You can jump from any one of over twenty British Parachute Association approved airfields across the UK. No experience is necessary as all training is given and if you raise upwards of £360 (depending on the type of jump you choose) you will get your jump for free!
