Light Up A Life
Every year Willow Burn holds an annual Light Up A Life Remembrance Service. The 2012 Light Up A Life remembrance service will be held in December at St Bede’s School in Lanchester.
Light Up A Life is an opportunity to remember with fondness and affection those who are no longer with us. At the service we light up our Christmas tree, sing carols and take some time to remember your loved one.
Individuals are invited to sponsor a light on our tree in memory of a loved one or friend and have their name recorded in our Book of Remembrance which is available to view at the Service and then later at Willow Burn.
By joining us to remember your loved one and sponsoring a light, you will help us to continue to provide the wide range of services that Willow Burn gives to many patients, their families and friends in Derwentside.
Light Up A Life offers people a time for reflection, celebration and hope, bringing comfort at this time of year.
Invitations to the 2012 Light Up A Life remembrance service and donation forms will be sent out in October. To register your name to receive details about the 2012 Light Up A Life remembrance service, please contact Clare Chillingworth at Willow Burn.
How can I create an on-line memorial to my loved one?
Creating an on-line memorial to your loved one to celebrate and commemorate their life is a unique way to honour them. We have chosen to partner with MuchLoved to provide this service on our behalf.
MuchLoved is a website where you can create an on-line memorial to your loved one. Creating an on-line memorial to your loved one can help you, your family and friends to express your grief, share your memories and pay lasting tribute to your loved one together, no matter where you are in the world.
