Why does Willow Burn need your donations?

Willow Burn is a local Hospice based in Lanchester, County Durham. Willow Burn offers free in-patient and day hospice support to people living with a life limiting illness or families who need respite care for their relative.

As the only adult Hospice in Derwentside, the care we offer is vital to the families and patients coping with difficult conditions.

We receive less than 40% funding from the Government and we have to fundraise to make up the shortfall ourselves.

Since 1989, the community of Derwentside and Durham have generously supported Willow Burn in many extraordinary ways and we would like to express our thanks to our committed supporters.
